Young Adults

Ages 18-25

This ministry is for the Young Adults of our parish ages 18-25.  This ministry provides a place for our college age youth to gather and explore our faith as well as socialize with other young Catholic adults.

If you are new on campus or maybe looking for a church home after a move, take heart, you are not the only one on a spiritual quest. Here are a few suggestions to make your church

search a little easier:

How does College Life work?

College Life is a simple online series-based solution to the problem of keeping students connected to their Catholic faith and their home parish while they are off at college.

  • Begin a series: Each series in College Life is geared toward walking with college students over a period of time with a given subject. Over time there will be more series to pick from to share with college students.

  • Email College Students: Download each PDF and send your college students an attachment with that part of the series. If there is a video involved just copy and paste the link to the individual page on CatholicYouthMinistry.com.

  • Read and Journal through a Series: When college students get your email they will click on the link to begin that part of the series. If it’s their first time on the site they will be asked to register. After registering, they will login and read/journal through the night along with watching a video from Paul George, the creator of College Life.8

UPCOMING EVENTS

Theology on Tap is a monthly gathering of young adults to share in faith and fellowship. This is a great way to meet other young adults in the area, invite friends to share the fellowship and faith, and unpack some topics that will enable us to live out our faith more boldly. Food and fellowship starts at 7 p.m. with our presentation starting around 7:30 p.m. All young adults are welcome (21+ to drink) so bring your friends.

Our fall dates and location have not been determined, but rest assured we will be rebooting Theology on Tap!

April 25 – “Finding God in the Secular Media” with Brian Shields

May 23 – “Living Out Chastity in a “Hook-up” Culture with Arleen Spenceley
